pomegranate cheesecake
Last day of work for two weeks! :) I'm so excited that for once, we're going to have a relatively relaxing break. No trips planned, no big events, nothing! I love the idea, but it actually makes me a little uncomfortable, to have so much free time. I've already begun making a list in my head (okay... maybe I also wrote it down or typed it out) of things I want to get accomplished during break. There are so many things that Tony and I have wanted to get done for a long time, but there's just no time during the year to check off those low priority items. One thing I really want to do over break is more food experimentation!
I love to cook when it's appreciated by others (if I'm eating by myself, I'd just eat some crackers or something). I'm not too adventurous, though -- I stick to my usual Chinese-American dishes. Can you guess which ones are Tony's and which ones are mine? :)
I really want to try making a pomegranate cheesecake (inspiration from Jen Yang!).
