oh boy, oh boy!
We had our big ultrasound yesterday, and...
Praise God that he is healthy and normal! He's about 9-10 inches long now, and 12 oz (don't ask me how they can tell how much he weighs). Tony thought it was a girl, but after we saw how active he was, I suspected it might be a boy. He moves around a LOT -- the sonographer kept commenting on how fast and busy he was. (Of course, that may or may not have anything to do with the Kit Kat I ate earlier that afternoon.) He's always kicking me now -- it kind of tickles! It's still so weird to me... like there's an alien growing inside me or something (I can't help but think of Breaking Dawn and Bella's monster baby).
So that answers ONE of the most commonly asked questions that everyone felt compelled to ask me in the past few months since I've been showing more. Janelle suggested I print a shirt with the answers and just wear it around so I can just point to it when people ask, hehe.

hahaha his position in the ultrasound is funny. at first, i thought the little circle shape on the lower right was his head, so I had trouble figuring out how his right thigh was oriented to his left thigh. I'm highly amused that you labeled the picture! Also, I LOVE the detail of the closeup picture of his face...his cute little nose!
This t-shirt strategy sounds like it could work for my engagement/wedding too.

Energetic huh? Good for boys in general, but a pain for the parents during the toddler years. Congrats again!
Haha I laughed about your "Breaking Dawn" comment. I remember thinking it was really strange to have a human being grow inside of me.

yay!!! :) a promise is a promise! ;) have fun with the names - boys names are hard. the girl's name we came up with will be given to our next doggie (if she is a girl)! we'll wait to get one until after june.. cause ya know... ;) loooove you, baby boy lam!!
