please please please pray for mina, our dear cousin who was diagnosed with leukemia today.  she is 11 years old.  she's still undergoing some tests to find out what kind of leukemia it is and to figure out her treatment regimen.  she will be at the hospital for one month, and she will not be returning to school at all this school year. 

we know that God hears our prayers, so we ask that you would join us in praying:

• for mina, that she will not be afraid and will be comforted by the love around her
• for her parents, that they will not despair, but trust in God
  
• for her younger siblings, marvin and minda, that they will be cared for and protected throughout this ordeal
• for us, that will we be able to share the love of Jesus Christ, the hope of life eternal, and the peace that surpasses all understanding to mina and her family
  
• that God would heal mina and get rid of the cancer!

and no matter what, we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him and are called according to his purpose.  praise be to God.
